This class is open to all
breeds of all ages that have
completed a group class or
private lessons with
LMCCB. This class is
designed to train your dog
to use his nose to find an
object or person by
following emitted airborne
particles. Your
dog will then learn
to alert you to the
"lost" person or
object and take you to
them. We feel all
dogs benefit from a job,
even if it’s solely
recreational.
This is a great way
to get your dog’s brain
working and allow him more
freedom to explore life
off leash.
Your
dog must like people, have
a solid recall and a good
working relationship with
his owner/handler.
Watching a dog
learn how to “look”
with his nose is an
awesome sight!
This also comes in
handy if your dog gets
lost...he’s better
trained to come find
you! Bonus!
Bring
toys, several different
values of treats, a
flashlight or headlamp and
a light for your dog's
collar to class.
Wear sturdy
footwear and we recommend
long pants since a good
amount of time is spent in
the thicket. Please call to sign up!
