Rally Obedience

Rally Obedience offers advanced training, fun and stimulation for all dogs!  Rally provides a fantastic bridge for the Canine Good Citizen and handler interested in pursuing agility, drafting, other organized canine sports or formal obedience. Whether you are looking to compete in the future or just have some fun, Rally at LMCCB has much to offer!

WHAT IS IT? Rally Obedience is a fun AKC and APDT sanctioned sport that requires dog and handler to heel through a pre-set course with a minimum of 15 stations.  Each station has a sign indicating the task to be performed by the dog and handler team.  Exercises are similar to those used in formal obedience; however, unlimited communication (in any form) is encouraged and not penalized.

IS IT RIGHT FOR MY DOG? Your dog should have a solid sit, down, sit-stay, down-stay and a firm understanding of loose leash walking before enrolling in this class.  Rally is also a great option for the older or injured dog that cannot handle the high impact jumping associated with agility (or for the handler who just can’t seem to keep up with the rigorous sport of agility). Others will join just to learn something new with their canine companions.  Please call 512-371-DOGS to sign up!

Class Fee: $250
