This class is open to all
breeds of all ages that have
completed a group class or
private lessons with
LMCCB. This class will
introduce you and your dog to
the fundamentals of ground
scenting. Your dog will
learn to follow a scent in a
straight line to find
articles placed on a track. Corners
will be added as the dogs
progress. Handlers will
learn the basics on tracking
know how.
We recommend
that you bring a variety of
treats and toys to each
class. A long line and
a tracking harness may be
needed at some point, but a
standard 6' leash and no-slip
collar will get you
started. Additional
materials will be discussed
by your trainer. This
class is offered in an
informal, relaxed, beautiful
setting. It's quite an
early rise, but a great way
to start the day with your
