Location: LMCCB Training Center When: Friday May 9th 5:30-8pm   It's about simulating "the chase" for your dog. The chase is generated by a continuous-loop line through a series of pulleys in a non-uniform set of turns. A white trash bag (the bunny) is attached to the line to attract your dog's attention. Open to all physically fit dogs regardless of size or breed. We recommend the following: (1) Take your dog on a nice long walk or jog before Lure Coursing to get them warmed up; (2) Do not feed your dog for several hours before Lure Coursing; (3) Encourage your dog to potty before Lure Coursing;(4) Encourage your dog to drink plenty after she runs. Please ask a LMCCB staffer if you are unsure about your dog's fitness level. $5/first run, $3 each additional as time allows. SCHRODI MEMORIAL TRAINING FUND BENEFIT NIGHT Location: Ten Thousand Villages  1317 S. Congress Avenue Austin, TX 78704 When: Wednesday May 14th 5-9pm Ten Thousand Villages is hosting Benefit Night where 10% of their sales are donated to the Schrodi Memorial Training Fund.  Representatives of the SMTF will be in store to answer questions about the Training Fund and how training can help ALL dogs.  The Schrodi Memorial Training Fund was established in 2007 to help folks afford high quality dog training. This class is best suited for people who are good at keeping up with their practice outside of class. We will help you lay the foundation or rebuild the foundation so you and your dog have the right tools to sustain good behavior.
